ERF History

This clan was founded on a belief that games should be played for fun. Thus surrounding themselves with people who shared those beliefs the original two Founders of the ERF clan Sm00th & Hotrod spawned a new clan, a family with a common belief which could be summed up in a simple phrase “Family is everything” Early February of 2004 winter was at its best (cold), spending 8 to 10 hours a day working ERF_Sm00th and ERF_Hotrod spent there late afternoon and evenings playing Raven Shield in a clan called R>Y>F. In R>Y>F Sm00th and Hotrod would spend hours talking playing and just having fun and became like brothers. Due to an unfortunate disagreement with the leadership of R>Y>F they decided to leave R>Y>F after realizing that R>Y>F was not right for them, they were joined by 15 other members of R>Y>F clan and a decision was made to form a new clan. On Feb.8th 2004 that clan became known as ERF (Elite Rebel Forces). The foundation of ERF from the beginning has been good games, respect and family, the leadership has tried to ensure that every individual who shared their beliefs would have a home to go to and we continue to thrive today. ERF has maintained a solid and loyal membership from the beginning and has continued to grow despite the declining interest in Raven Shield. In 2006 an allied clan known as MAD decided to join forces with ERF Bachus,Viper ,Bad Dog & Buzzed, just to name a few. In 2007 another clan known as RD with some solid members also decided to become part of the ERF family. The core members like Smitty, Hootch, Fleetwood, & Skidoodle were added ERF has come a long way from playing on community servers through The Zone to renting a gaming server that we control. Many games have come and gone, to many to mention, and from a horribly scratchy Roger Wilco voice com to crystal clarity in Ventrilo and Team speak. We will continue to change and continue to grow so that the people who want to play to have fun will always know where to go. We are a cheat-free clan and we are members of Punks Busted & Sac Family & Attitude will always come first in ERF, skill second
